Short: MultiBlank is a modular screen blanker like GBlanker and BlitzBlank
but (IMHO) better
Req.: MultiBlank works on any Amiga with OS 2.04 or above
MultiBlank is a modular screen blanker which uses OS 2.04 commodities
functions to monitor user activity. It can be run from a CLI or Workbench
and takes it's settings from the command line or .info file respectively.
The arguments/tooltypes are as follows:
CX_POPUP - show user interface on startup. Default NO
CX_POPKEY - specify hotkey using commodities conventions. Default
"control alt b"
CX_PRIORITY - commodities priority. Default 0
SCREEN - Delay between last user activity and start of screen blanking.
Default 8 mins.
MOUSE - Delay between last user activity and mouse blanking. Default
3 mins.
PATH - Path to directory containing blanking modules. Default
"Modules"
MODULE - Name of startup module. Default "BlackOut"
BlackOut is a built in module which does as little as possible
to achieve a blank screen. This module is used as a backup if
the requested one fails in any way.
If you want to write a module for MultiBlank then go ahead. All I ask is
that you take care to make it stable and that you send me a copy. See the
documentation in "Developers" drawer for more info.
Any suggestions for improving this program are welcome.
I realise that this isn't a very in-depth doc but I hate writing them and
this is a VERY simple program :-)
